Really beautiful eye.

Thank you, The eye, eyelid and lips were all done very wet and primary colour added. I was pleased with the effect on the lips and eyelid but the eye and pupil hardly moved and only a small amount of soakin and I forgot to move it with the end of the brush. Having said all that it turn out Ok. So what do I know.

Thank you, I like these close ups because unless you get the likeness right they look awful. Mind they never look right just croping a portrait down with a scanner. I don't do this, I paint then as close ups and I think I can stop cropped ones.

I like this. Very original. It would be great on a wall in huge format.

Thank you, It does take practise, but I work with it W/C from sketch to painting. I paint with about 30 brushes only mix and washout in seperate pots. There are many tip, skills and techniques if I can help, then return on something that you would like to know how and what to do and I have pre written pieces and I'll explain how.

Thank you, It was done as a learning tool for someone to see that likeness is not a whole face but a look. I like minimalist painting just the bare features but for impact painting to turn heads you have to shock, First they hate it, then it's all right, then it's not so bad, then everybody loves it. Turn heads FUN, Fun fun, enjoy it it's not work.
