Hello friends! Beg-your-pardon to any others. Here's an idea: a world-wide Halloween Costume Party - You're Invited! Be Somebody! Be Some-Thing! Be There! (It'll have to be at my house .... so maybe 'virtual' would be better. ;¬)
Oh man...I would love to have some of what you been smoking John! Or just to be a fly on the wall of your brain for a day! Great idea!!! Be cool if there was a way to do monster themes for Halloween? I do have a pic of me as Criss Angel for Halloween I can use as my avatar as time draws near?
I dunno buddy. Pretty rarefied air in either case. I don't think you'd like it.
Sorry I couldn't help. Tell you where to go tho' - dude on the south side's alredy seen you comin'.... you'll recognize him - looks JUST like Criss Angel.
lemme see here pencil = contribution, ink is commitment - I'm writing this down -
waaaaaaaay too deep for me Mr. Philosopher! You must've gotten up with the Criss Angel lookin' boy-eeee. How is it?
It's hard to keep 'em straight without a scorecard. You WERE Criss Angel but that was long ago. Thanks for the translation of that profundity & 0ne more thing: I love it when a pen or a brush or even a pencil surprises me.
...thanks for invitation! it will be a mind dazzling night to be among those kindly monsters!!(werewolves, vampires, zombies, .... and also kissable frightening creatures of Mr.Karloff himself: mummy, monster of Dr. Frankenstein,...) but I think it is better to write my will!
Yeah. So I hear. And all over top of that beautiful Persian tradition too. Funny old world ain't it? If I were to pack a bag for Iran, I too, would have to scratch out a will. See you on the other side. PS I had finished the ad, but my buddy, the kudu, gemsbok slayer, acted just like a client and turned it upside down. It's due to the pub on Thursday and runs in October. Website will be beautiful!
thanks for information! write me the web site address when it get ready!PS: I hope the political situation of the world get calmer and we can forget the wills for a while!(I know, it is only an unachievable dream)
i have never been to a Halloween Party, South Africa has more british festivals, but then again, here you can't go to the front door and ask: trick or treat... if the owners don't call the cops, the security guards come rocking up...
Costumes are fun
Early evening here is still like the old days, little, generally chaperoned children going door to door. Later, you get Li'l Wayne, Sid Viscious, Puff Daddy, & all the wanna be gangstas Crime spikes here at Christmas! SECURITY!
Jeans, Cowboys, Bears, Cougars, The Big Apple, Pie, Hollywood, Mardi Graz, ... vs Cape Town, Lions, Elephants, Braai (Barbeque), Bushveld, Beaches, Drakensberg... ok ok... i just made myself feel a bit better now... but i am still going to come and visit the US one day... even if i am 80 years old! JIHAAAAAAAA, i am going to feel that American Dream, even if for just one month... cruising across from East to West... or is it West to East... depends were my plane does the touch down... NY? LA?... doesn't matter... i can't wait!
1st 2 days in Miami, then ... brawl thru' the U.S. like this ... drive to Atlanta, fly to Washington, DC, drive to Boston, tour New England, fly to Chicago, & down to Nashville, Tennessee, all the way down to New Orleans, over to Dallas, Las Vegas, San Diego, LA, San Fran., Seattle, Wyoming, Montana, Denver, Minnesota, and finish with 5 days in New York! Then we'll all just jet back down to Cape Town for a photo safari & a big Braal in Africa!! It could happen!
M*I*A*M*I... WOAH! oh yes, i am all eyes and ears here now!!!! New England, hullo!!!!! oh can we make a little tea/whiskey break in Georgia... Atlanta, my couz lives there... Las Vegas... hahaaha, do the devil mile, or what is that hot road called? Mile 99 or sometin? oh boy, i need aircon... i get hot very easy... .. oh heck, i meant... argh whatever... MONTANA!! oh yes yes, i can do some horseback riding!!! maybe meet the Horse Whisperer???? oh sigh my heart rate just jumped through the roof here... need some cold water now!! Cape Town ROCKS! i stayed there for 8 years... i LOVED it!! i love all beach places... now i stay in the "bush"... where do you stay? or have i asked already?
It's a plan! I'm in Greenville, South Carolina. just below midway down the East Coast, lovely little (350K) valley town 144 miles from the ATL & 1.5 hrs. from NY ... 45 minutes from the mountains, 2.5 hrs. from Myrtle Beach -- perennially on the Top Ten places to live list - we'll take you to see the deserted islands and the wild ponies on the Outer Banks & watch the Cowboys play the Redskins!
NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! South Carolina... you have that southern talk on yah too???? Oh heck, hubby was in Spartenburg, BMW... 2 years ago, said the nature there is beautiful... one of my dreams is to go to Savannah... thats South Carolina too, isnt it??? boy how i wish i could hear your voice right now... southern talk, jihaaaaaaaa
Savannah is a beauty ... old by our standards ... north Georgia ... close to here ... I don't drawl like Gone With The Wind ... nor clip & posture like The Sopranos or Rocky ... but I can do a pretty good John Wayne imitation - wanna hear it!
YEAH i LOOOOOVED John Wayne, heck cause of him, i started to ride my horse with the freakin bridle in my mouth, mom nearly got a heart attack! WOOOHOOOO...
Well I reckon we will Missy. Gotta pull yer hat down like this fix it so the sun is in their eyes and watch fer that little twitch when they go fer their iron.
Think I don't know when I'm being bamboozled Little Lady? Here ... go on over to the Mercantile and pick ya out a piece a licorice & a sarsparilla. I'll getcha a room at The Dodge House.
am i sending wrong messages here? Porsche Cowboy? i'll take the licorice and r-r-r-r-un.... don't want you to get into trouble with wifey!!! she any good with a double barrel shotgun? heol, i better start running for dem hills now!!
all my bad Biggs! a very weak joke in the first place - dashed off - - Late night party. might need a room, Halloween candy -- tasteless & stupid - my apologies
hey my cowboy John bro, i have to "ride off"... getting late here... sun is already setting... got to feed my animals and take them to bed... you have yourselves a GREAT weekend and we'll dream on some more then!
got bored, nothing on telly so i had a quick peep into Star Portraits... but i am just answering my mail and then i am going to hit the sack.. and schleeeeeeeeppp
i still feel shitty about that darn idiot in me, thinking, you thinking i am coming on to you! Darn i feel bad! Just want to hide under the table here and never come out anymore... puleeeeeeeeeze forgive me!!!
You sure had me worried there for a while as all roads lead to Stockbridge "Oh!" COURT!!!. Phew
( See my postal address with the disc which is on it's way)
There was a great old Music Hall (our Vauderville) song. It extolled the virtues of the wonderful scenery to be seen from the singer's house..."If it wasn't for the houses in between"
So, if it wasn't for the ocean in between!!!!!
Yep. Big Water fer shure. We knew a horseman from Ireland who visited frequently while wooing a friend's daughter (long ago) - he was quite a gentleman - poor as a church mouse but he lived in a 400 year old castle & was a member of The House of Lords. He would always bring us smoked Nova Scotia salmon! The best in the world!!
I have to say here and now, you have made the aquaintance of many and varied folks. Though his story sounds as though it might have been quite common... not much cash left over when you have the upkeep of a castle!!
I guess. Drain the moat, repair the drawbridge, make sure the VisiGoths can't scale the western wall ... boil the oil. Geez. Maybe our pal Jeremy wasn't as needy as he let on. He did have world class horseflesh ... and could fly to the states at will. Maybe he just had a really good (humpbacked) staff!
Guess old Jeremy wasn't as poor as he wanted you to assume. That way no-one expected him to dig deep Anyhow a pennyless aristocrat can seem so romantic
Yes indeed! They have great fun living the horse life in Kilarney I think it is? She was an Olympic team alternate (he wasn't) but then, she's a babe ... and he's NOT!
