NO not an idiot but like me tired. I have word blindness which means I sit and ponder words to use sometimes the simple ones make me the most annoyed. Your saying paint and painted is the word you seek. I paint mostly because like my nickname I'm not very good with English I'm Welsh but although I speak no Welsh something sometime makes me answer in Welsh strange but true. I attend a Art club once a week and next door they speak Welsh very loudly at a learning class. Don't worry it's the Art that talks to use all. Brian, Ddiolch 'ch, Thank you and 'ch chroesawa
your welcome.
You're right - TIRED - Brian. I used to get by with averaging 4 hrs sleep a night but nowadays it's between 2-3 hours. Not to matter, all things come to pass. ... Yay, first time I ever saw Welsh in writing. My ex-mother-in-law is Welsh and she's one of the nicest people I know - mmmm, that can go for you too.
We the Welsh are the race of people that are loyal and true, we are honest and trustworthy. You only sleep for a short time, I sleep very poorly being woken by pain but I try to cat nap every day I'm not completly well I have a few medical problems that prevent good sleep and that is why I paint so much plenty of time to fill. Brian.
Ahhhh, so that's why you Welsh people sing so beautifully. It's all in the purity of heart. My lack of sleep is due to the fact that I'm too lazy to go to bed I'd rather draw or write ... and then time flies by and before you know it - it's morning! As a kicker my mom once came into the lounge to see me drawing away merrily. "Wow," she said "You're up early!" I was so surprised - I'd forgotten to go to bed altogether. I have a full day job so it doesn't do much good to my work, I'm afraid. I always catch up my sleep though, in the weekends. Nice chatting to you Brian, have a great day and I'll catch you on your next amazing creation.
Thank you, I have four others in the half done box waiting for me to finish then their all his Blackader family. Out od all his charaters Mr Bean I can't watch as it drives me up the wall.
this is so cool , you nailed it , he is so so funny and you captured his emotion and likeness very well , love colors a lot especially his green eyes and red shiny lips , it's so good i have no questions abot it right now
Thank you, you have a very good gallery I like your work you draw excellently for your age in the next few years try a little paint say watercolour as it will teach you about colour tone. First try chalk pastels they can be difficult work from inside to out side and from light tone to dark. Try masking pencil drawings either masking fluid or tape. this will teach you to think of light before drawing. Mr Bean is not my favourite comic he tends to be a little to dumb for me but he is an excellent practice subject because of the detail in his face. I like drawing and painting faces as they help me with my skills. Try moving to a sketching pencil called a Derwent wash they have all the colours and shades of B pencils but will help with painting. Sorry to go on a bit about painting but it is important to start young as it will be easy for you age 14 than 24 because at 24 you will start to not want to experiment and try new thing I love youngsters have a go attitudes. Brian.
thank you very much I would really like to try paint, but I really don't know how to use watercolours and pastels... it's sad becouse i live in a very small town and there's nobody who could teach me but my mum is trying to find someone around her.. I hope i will learn
and sorry for my bad english
Ok that's a good idea! but don't judge all art through the eyes of one teacher. The most important thing in art is originality and practice. Like English it's no good just occasionally speaking it you must practice. First for watercolour try getting hold of a set of cheap watercolour pencils then these will teach you about colour and tone. As all painting is about tone. Forget the constant call for quality equipment cheap paint is as good as dear paint. Three good quality brushes are the aim as long as they don't loss their bristle then there OK. Next Paper thick watercolour paper for the work you want to keep and thinner for practice. I know what it's like to be poor in choices of where to get things or not a lot of money but Christmas and Birthdays all mean a gift let it be known you paint. I mentor young people and try to get them motivated, because youth is wonderful. if you like art then I can see talent in your drawings. Your English is Great. Brian
Thank you, The portrait is more about the mood and facial emotions, a very good actor my favourite roles are more towards Black Adder than Mr Bean, as I'm not into that slap stick hummer. Although I feel he is very good at it. Brian.
