Very good, background is very good but looks a little to much the same as the shirt, the shirt apart from a little more darkness is perfect. Likeness is OK but more shadow would improve it. Hair with watercolour always start dark and go light so either a light grey or mid brown from brown hair Payne's grey and black for black hair, first darker colour to start then leave to dry, then pull light brown through it. Eyes these are well proportioned and OK but look at them not as rings but shadows coming down from the top so it should be black to the top of the pupil with a hint of dark brown then light brown and flecks of orange. On your painting they look a little to orange. For the eyes I nearly always do the colour and the lighter colour with Acrylic because after it has dried it does not move or mix with the next colour added so after the shadows it the eyes and when dry a spot of Acrylic white looks like a shine or light spot. Enough for now I will give you the secret of flesh shadow next time. Brian
