Excellent, different, Very good colours, slight error on the light fall, but his flesh tone, eye and lips are wonderful. Her eye and hair is excellent with the light falling from right to left her face would be almost white on the cheek edge line and the neck white. A technical detail not important as the overal look is excellent. I know i'm commenting on her but he's so wonderful it's bugging me and I would have placed it as all wonderful. Watercolour pencils the first step before paint. Excellent again.
thank you a looot, nice of you to take a look at my works and comment on them, i´m honored i´m slowly learning to work with colours, but for now, i think pencil is a better choice for me
No his face make it excellent My simple advise is to encourage you to do more what we want sometimes is not the best thing for use. even a little one say ever two would make a vast diiference to your overal work. Your talented from his face I can tell that. The only thinbg about her face is not the painting but just to be aware of shadow and light fall. Please do more for me
ofcourse, i will try to follow your advice it is nicer to see a colorful portrait, but takes a lot getting used to do it. must gather lots of patience before doing it. AND got to find quality colours cause neither my colored pencils nor watercolor are good
he colour quality is not important a simple blocks or tube set of watercolour with a few colours. Go for cheap and if you need tones of colours then, make your own. I can give you the mixes for flesh, once you start. I have colours many of them same name on the tube but different tones, because I'm a man or boy and I'm a equipment nut with hundreds of brushes and many colours. I have much more than I need. It's the person or the talent that is important not the numbers or quality. Your watercolour pencils are great, keep using them like you are and you will end up on paint I notice the black is a little to perfect don't worry it's not a criticism but and observation. I would buy in my fist choice colour tubes rather than block paints. Also one large acrylic black, white tubes and also a watercolour white and black. you will need these for background. Use you watercolour pencils for a few paintings, do wet on wet paper first . Brian
ok, i might do that. it´s best to try as many different media as you can in order to find the one most suitable feel free to criticize me if you want, i know i´m not perfect and i would like to know what i do wrong
