Wow, JohnO ... sometimes you make me fall flat on my face ... which I don't appreciate. ... then I pick myself up, curse and swear and brazenly face the flippen screen in front of me. What do I see - Eva Longoria Greek Goddess ... you continue to amaze JohnO at ceaseless random
... RAM is very scarce in my part of the world - I only got two megabytes myself - but they're mega-adorable, I could just byte them. Pleasures mine - I appreciate your artwork
yep. Leaves are turning red & gold ... that 'Bambi' you saw is a 55 MPH model with 4 foot horns that can gore a lion! but ..... I don't shoot 'em either
I am sure Delacroix will help the Matisse with kicking at the poor ingress from behind! and eccentric Degas will come to help his master and we would have a real havoc in Art history!
and Toulous - biting everyone's ankles & Goya saying 'what astigmatism, it looks right to me!" and Bosch, 'to hell with all of you' and what would Duchamp say here? "Gee, I think you missed the likeness a little."
That Ingress could surely draw though. What if he had had 'photo reference??!
imagine him(Ingress I mean) busy in taking various erotic reference photos for his masterpiece the Turkis bath! since many black eunuchs were present in such places for protecting the properties(women!) of Sultans and Pashas, they would arrest and slain the poor Ingress immediately! and out and end to an illumines part of art history! Moral conclusion: it is better for all us that the camera invented a bit later!
Indeed! I always liked the preliminary drawings of Ingress - they show such a great understanding of anatomy, form, grace - AND If we were still waiting for the camera, I wonder what Stars-Portraits would look like????
Wow, John. I'm not knowledgable enough to say definately who the "old master"is, but this is in the class and style of one of them . Chagall?? Anyhow.. Congratulations
I appreciate your comment immensely Tom! Chagall got away with flying cows, I can't even get green witches through. My latest post was just too weird to be considered a pencil portrait.
