Excellent drawing, I think if I were you tutor I would try to move you from the technique and skill excellence you show a towards the more Impressionist style your drawing is outstanding in both skill and likeness but for me it misses on something. You are a wonderful artist and draw excellently and are realy talented. :clap: :clap: :clap: :grin: :8)

hey brian thanks for looking, i love your artwork, i have tried and failed badly at the more impressionist stlye, i cant seem to let go if that makes sense then i get really really wraped up in all the tiny details in the drawings. seeing your work is very inspiring so will have another go for sure. will try in acrylics have not used them for a while :grin: thanks againxxx

Why not try watercolour and acrylics together, get the look with WC then fix it with acrylics WC tends because of it's fluidness or movement to mix a bit on the paper this moves you towards impressionism the seeking of detail can be a great achievement and a great downfall. Many artist draw in detail to final move to a impressionist work. I’ not well at the moment but I’m painting 10 artist I’m trying to put were possible a little of their art in my work done five, five to go when I feel Better( just a heavy cold) Brian :grin: :8)
