Peter Law our Local Member of Parliament who died in 2006. A local hero that the labour party won't accept. The labour party started their more showing from this date on.
Thank you, Peter a good friend of mine he was a true man of the people I have never seen so many people come out on the streets to watch his funeral procession go past the whole of the five towns of his constituency were lining the route of his last journey to the Church and it was attended by 1000 people inside and outside the Church all for what was a local councillor for 20 years. He had a way with people even his opponents he new everyone's name and family and would in the middle of a town say how's your uncle it’s his birthday or send you a get well card when you were ill. The Ted Kennedy guy in a small way reminded me of Peter a helping hand to friends and opponents. Sadly missed for both. Brian
Thank you, He was a very nice man and a friend he died to soon. That's what they say about the good ones. It was difficult as the photo's of him are not that great so I hope my effort is OK.
