Yes I think that is pretty common now but before in the late 1960s and early 70s it was something new and inovative. Also the communicators that William Shatner used are now the standard for the new cell phones. He even takes credit for inventing the modern cell phone.

Oh, i did not know that about Shatner, they should use him on their cellphone ads then... i was just talking the other day, about how scary it actually is, the way technology has changed in such a "short" time! To think of it, when my gran was my age and what is on today! WHUFH, mind blowing! But i am glad about the internet, because i have found great friends across the globe! So i am not complaining there! HAve a great weekend my friend!

I am thrilled to use the internet I have met soooooo many wonderful people on here especially this web site. I just love the lay out and the easy access of all the artists world wide. I even bought a globe to see where our friends are located. I must say that artists are the best people in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes i agree! I am totally hooked! i had a peep on Google Earth, it was fascinating to fly across and see, where all of you are! i enjoy Star Portraits too. No frills or fuss, just the way i am!

Oh thanks so much Maq. I really love hearing from you. It is fun to try to use the mixed media it really is getting to be more spontaneous. I know people do not want to pose for a long period of time and this is getting to be a finished piece in about an hour. But my goal is really to have a finished peice in half hour. then it is off to the park and maybe a new challenge of drawing folks there.
