OK, I've set myself a little task for practice. I'm putting into my art club a copy of a grand masters work so to warm up this is my second place I not putting it in as I've done a better one, What can be better than to get a little relaxation from art. I don't usually do copies but I say break the rule is my thing. Hope you like it. .

Rupin It's a good challenge for all as it is not easy and takes great likeness training and the skill of porportion I have a few more which will be on after the weekend I have had a mild case of flu over the last two weeks only now is my interest coming back into art. I have many pre made and about 20 to finish. I hope every thing is going well for you both family and education and work wise.

Thank you, I don't usually copy from anyone, but I think we all have a Mona Lisa in us waiting to get out so because I was doing a pastique for my Art club I painted this as a warm up piece I did the Girl with the pearl earring for the competition I went on to win with it. Brian. :grin: :8)

Thank you, I have left a comment on one of your works I hope it will help you. Mona Lisa is a good portrait to copy, even for my style as it takes good planning, drawing, scaling and very accurate measurement Also it seems to have that little bit of magic come out when you do it with love I love doing work that is original and different. I have plenty of time for art but I still at my level practice every day for 2hours At the moment I’m having a little rest but in the new year I will be back with many new portraits. Brian :grin: :8)
