Excellent, A much better Robert P a bit of depth. All the techniques and skills a little longer than 10 minutes I think. Very good. The shading in the background is very good it helps with the depth if it was an accident well, learn from a happy accident if not well crafted. In painting we use the dark firt then apply white in drawing it is more difficult but the hair is excellent here. A small problem with the shading technique that could be the choice of soft pencil. Over all your rate of improvement is very good I like the way you challenge yourself.
haha, yep, it took longer than 10 minutes. i didn't realise until after i scanned it that it has a wierd train track sort of thing at the bottom, it's where i used an eraser and then forgot to blend it, lol. it was really annoying to draw this picture as he has a beard which is silly, lol.
and also the shading in the background was a "happy accident" as you put it, lol, i always smudge drawings with my hands by accident, its annoying, lol, but sometimes does help when shading around the eyes and the jaw line.
