This started life as a pencil drawing, but I painted over it digitally to give it a pen & ink feel.
I just want to say thanks for all the comments & compliments - I do read them all but it's taking me too long to reply to each one now, but they're very much appreciated!
I'm a fan of drawing not digital both your drawings would be excellent if completly shown, I have nothing against digital apart from it is a little machine like great for teaching aboth likeness but more on the inner pieace of art within. It takes many years to paint or draw but it' woth it in the end. I think your idea of overlaying the digital is original and intresting but not my favourite thing.
Both drawings are completely shown - the background is just a close-up of the same picture.
I agree we get more feeling into real-world drawing & painting than digital, though some digital artists are very good.
I make no critique of your work, both digital or freehand it’s just as you draw so well I would like to see more free hand than mainly digital I make no judgement on digital as there are some great Artists who paint with it, but the act of drawing or painting has been around a little longer from cavemen days and I would just like to see it continue a little longer. Mind as a tool or teaching devise I find it excellent but nothing is as good as the freedom of making small happy accident with a brush, then trying to re-capture them as a technique. Skill is the management of all techniques from drawing to paint and the progression of these skills you have a talent for both.
