:hi:Won't be as detailed as that, as I can hardly wait 'til he gets older and.....what a face. Lived in, and lived in dangerously!!

 jpoulos2561 - 09/11/09, 16:39 reply
Fer shure! :D Cash said, (to Waylon Jennings) "You're the guy everyone thinks I am!" :D :D

:hi:and Jerry Lee said " John was religious-thinking, if not always religious-acting" Must get on with the next J.C.!!! :hi:

Rockabilly roots ... Jerry Lee was driving his Caddy in the rural south - earlly sixties - he stopped at a gas station where the only attendant was down in the grease pit and the front room offered 8-track tapes for sale - super cheap - in a big cabinet with holes in the plexiglas window so you could view the item but couldn't remove it. The case contained a number of pirated JLL recordings. He stuck both hands in, lifted it overhead and threw it through the front window into the gas pumps. The young attendant flew into the 'lobby' saying, "Lord have mercy! What am I gonna tell the boss?!" Jerry Lee said, "Tell him The Killer Was Here."

 heybu9 - 09/11/09, 17:25 reply
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :DGreat and I always loved the way J.L.L. managed to mention the "killer" or "Jerry Lee" in most of his songs!! Who knows why "the killer"????????? How many of his wives died?? :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

 jpoulos2561 - 09/11/09, 21:44 reply
A free swingin' buck from Northern Louisiana calls everybody "Killer" (when he can't remember their names) :D 'All Killer, No Filler' !!

 heybu9 - 10/11/09, 12:41 reply
:hi:Northern Irish bucks (when they can't remember a name) call every one (male) "oul haun" :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/without the accent is "old hand" translated means "experienced and wise person" :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :hi:

 jpoulos2561 - 10/11/09, 13:46 reply
Lucky for you. Our 'old hands' are likely to hear only, 'Gimme your wallet!' :( :( :hi: :hi:

:hi:That's terrible!!We are reasonably quiet at present (just bubbling below the surface) :/ :/ :/We never had much trouble with "muggers". Oh sure, we had folks tortured, shot and blown up because of their religion, but not much trouble with "muggers" :( :( :( :( :( :hi:

:hi:Even here, we reckon U.S. has more than its fair share of crazies. All part of lifes rich tapestry!!! :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :hi:

 jpoulos2561 - 11/11/09, 14:01 reply
It's rich -- with tragedy - our attention to it is beyond criminal. A hundred hungry networks with tasteless little demigods as commentators. They accidentally-on-purpose proliferate the madness by creating a flash of sickening fame for the truly disturbed. The next twisted &^&^ can see his way more clearly. They executed the "DC Sniper" yesterday. Leftover from 2002. Where is The Duke now that we really need him? Or Matt Dillon? :D They would have taken out the lunatics long before they got 10 vics! And it wouldn't have taken 7 years either!!! :D :D :D

:hi:Guess you miss Cowboy Regan, could he have sorted you lot out? :/ :/I'm sure you heard it and it's old hat now, but in case you didn't.......Back a few years ago in Hollywood , two old timers commenting, 1st.."Ronald Regan for president!" 2nd, after thinking it over "Naw, Jimmy Stewart for president, Regan for his best friend" :) :) :) :) :) :hi: :hi: :hi:

I thought Reagan proved 'how little it takes,' and showed the world how to win Texas Hold 'Em with pocket fives. If he had been elected a couple of terms sooner, it may not have become apparent that he was several bricks short of a full load and he could have repealed the consecutive term amendment going on to become ... king. :D :D :D I HADN'T heard the old hats but ... 'Ah Ah Ah think it's a winner!' :) :whip:

 heybu9 - 12/11/09, 12:39 reply
:hi:Of course, I spelt (spelled?) Reagan wrong(wrongly?) So I'm on a bummer here and will keep this short. Just to say I don't know U.S. politics and don't know what each party stands for. I don't even know what party Reagan belonged to, but I did like him and thought he was a better president than an actor, which is good :) :) :)

 jpoulos2561 - 12/11/09, 13:59 reply
I'm sure you know as much as me and maybe enough to serve in the House of Representatives. :ok: :ok: RR just treated the presidency like a role and it worked better than most! :) :hi: :whip:

 heybu9 - 13/11/09, 10:21 reply
:hi:From this distance, it did seem it worked for him, something you can't say of them all! :) :) :) :hi:

 jpoulos2561 - 13/11/09, 16:27 reply
Oh yeah! He was hugely popular and many many people got very rich here during his reign. :ok: :ok: :hi: :) :whip:
