you did a wonderful job. :magic: :whip: :whip: :oO: :oO:Marilyn is sublime under your pencils. I intend to draw it soon, but suddenly I doubt  :hammer: I can make her as pretty blond on your drawing. Would you have any advice for me? In all cases still bravo   :hi:

Hey Sylv... thanks for your comments :-) The best advice I can offer is: regardless of the picture you want to draw, first draw a very faint outline of the whole face (or subject) then stand back and look at your outline to make sure all is in proportion, i.e. the eyes, nose, mouth ect are all in the right place. Then you can begin to start shading and adding the detail. I ALWAYS begin with the eyes... from the eyes you have a main focal point, a reference to where everything else should be. The biggest mistake most people make is working too hard with the pencil, always start with VERY light strokes, this way you can easily rub out any parts your not happy with as you go. It's always better to add layers of shading to build up the dark areas rather than go straight to dark shading as this will make you feel that you have to commit and can't go back. Last of all, if your after a realistic affect remember that in real life there are NO straight or dark outlines which form a persons face. Shading is everything and what makes a picture come to life. Above all, take your time and be patient. The Marilyn picture took me three days... Have fun!!!!!
