Thank you, a secret when drawing or painting eyes is to be a little less detailed and allow more shade into the white of the eye it helps with the shine making it brighter this is also why I tone down all the background its about tones an depth. :grin: :8) :magic:

I have just visited your gallery and your drawings are excellent Pursue the way your bring in colour to your work Try buying a soluble pencil it will add to your drawing effects as well as help with the move to colour also if advise is needed please feel free to ask me I will give you help if required. :grin: :8) :magic:

Thank you, I think I did not explain enough when I drew this that yes it is a drawing that I drew for the painting but not the painting one I drew a copy yes drew a copy using tracing paper and overlaying if I had scanned the drawing then continued it would have spoilt it, as I use a sketching pencil which is water-soluble for paintings and a B8 pencil and white chalk for drawings. on the bottom of the painting the wet on wet effect for pencil is done with the sketching pencil then wet a little. Drawing painting are all just learning skills and techniques and allowing our inner artist or magic to flow. :grin: :8) :magic:
