Yowsa ... this is so huge and so lovely. You didn't mess up at all. I once went to an art exhibition and was facinated with one remarkably realistic painting. Two people were chatting together next to me and the one guy said "... it just takes extreme patience ..." - I guess that hit me right between the eyes and I thought - yup, I certainly am one who needs to practice patience with my drawings. Not quite there yet ... but his message did get through. This is remarkable and I am gobsmacked that it's your first attempt. You're brilliant!
