The idea came about with this recent portait I made of Natalie Portman, I originally planned to just have her hair long, add some glitter and experiment with the new skin texture. As I worked on the background, I again thought of turning it into a peacock, but I cant find my peacock feather stocks! So, I went ahead with the glitter, which in the end, started to look good as bubbles and it did look good with the aqua-blue background, in the end, turned her into a mermaid.
