Oh Yes. I love your Rihanna too. I wish I had your expertise with pastels. I am so ashamed with my own pastel portraits that I don't even try anymore. I find pastel very difficult. All the more, It means that you are a great artist. :clap: :clap:

Thank you 2tones. Rihanna is my best portrait with pastel so far. Pastel is my favourite medium for headshot portraits now. I used only gouache before (see Sharon Stone portrait) and it's not that easy to get the skin tones come out right. With pastels, it takes only a few minutes to just mix a couple colors, et voilà!... In other words, if you're good with graphite pencil, you could be good with pastel too, so don't give up!

Bonjour 2tones. Tu peux lire ma courte biographie sur mon site : j'ai vécu 30 ans en France et je vis depuis un peu plus d'1 an en Californie. Le Canada fait partie des pays à voir quand je ferai le tour du monde dans quelques années ;-)

Je suis allé sur ton site, Ma. Tu fais du bon travail. J'ai lu que tu vivais de ton art maintenant. Peut-on vraiment vivre en faisant des portraits. Au prix où tu les vends, il faut intéresser pas mal de clients et de façon continuelle. Ton site est très bien fait. Quant au voyages, tu verras beaucoup de belles choses au Canada, C'est un beau pays. Je suis installé au Québec depuis 43 ans. Je suis né en France. Salutations Jean. :hi:
