No, I don't need motivation for this But it does motivate me when you say that it could become really good. It has become a cozy habit of mine to paint at the weekends, and Jimmy Stewart is worth it, anyway. Nevermind if your portraits were painted long ago; you are so lucky to have painted him in time to get his signature. I envy you this.

Yes I was very fortunate to get his signature. I have had many years of good folks signing my work, but at my age, I have no need to keep them, and have sold most of them, hoping they will give pleasure to others. Although I must admit I still have the little hand-written note he sent.
