He is Kirk Douglas in his memorable role as Vincent Van Gogh. I used impasto brushes and used all of my knowledge to create something near to paintings of that great master and martyr of Art. My original photo model was an old black and white.

Wow! I don't usually comment on digital paintings, but this one's really good. I think you really succeeded in making it look like Van Goghs paintings.
