Thank you, The first drawing was done in 2001 and took 3hours in was very good so I decided to use it for the step by step. 1 hour for each wash = 3hrs - 15 minutes for correction 1. - 30minutes to finish it so say 4hrs for the paintings. Normally I would take about hour but it was the stopping and starting then scan in the stage. I like a challenge or a deadline. I started at 6am to 10am Sunday

Thank you, It's just part of a training aid I did it for youngsters aged 10 to 12 in an art class I was a visiter showing how to do portraits and try to inspire the watercolour medium in then, all of them enjoyed doing their own vestion and they did better ones than me. I think it was a sucess as they asked me back and I did a simple Charlie Chaplin portrait in an hour. Brian

I have done that for many years and I also work along with some older fellow artists. I like teaching basic drawing not for the drawing but ready for paint. I have taken many youngsters and awoke the painting talent they have I love the look of amazement when you show them so thing which they thought was difficult but is easy. I have been tracked down by art teachers because I tell youngsters that they are taught wrong so now I keep my feelings on art to myself. I have a talk whilst doing work about how the portrait artist were the photographers and pop stars of the middle ages The youngster never fall asleep or get bored. I also do award and badge work with scouts for both drawing and art mediums. Brian
