Thank you I only painted half the face leaving gaps then I trailed white dirty water across the paper. on the white areas I trailed old wash out water. It dried well! :) :thumbup:

it is amazing how u used something most people would throw away (dirty water) to create something as beautiful as this. i understand wot u said about how true art makes you see something in a completely new light. :whip: :)

Thank you, for many years I have tried all kinds of little experiments, some work! some don't! Art is about trying things not like the teachers say but for oneself, all masters learnt from each other by watching and painting small pieces of a great work. I’m just old and have had to learn as I go but if I can help I will. Remember likeness, technique and originality. :) :thumbup:
