Pencil

Drew this because of the Japanese print on the cloth (you can fit Marilyn in any subject!). The photograph was taken by Cecil Beaton, and its one of my most favourite photographs. It was taken in a really soft focus, so I used only tortillion to blend to make it nice and fuzzy. I'm particularly pleased with the hands and transparency of the cloth on her left. Does the Japanese woman look like a drawing of a painting? If that makes sense.

It's really amazing... And yes, the transparency does look very realistic The Japanese woman seems to be drawn in ink... Oh and by the way, thankyou for adding me to your list! It's the first time anyone has!
