If this is you not adjusted to the new paper, I'd love to see you when you are adjusted to the new paper! It's just great! You'll get the hang of it! I had a bit of a disagreement with my piece of wood last night, but we talked about it and worked it out! :D I've just added the portrait to my gallery. It'll be online in a while. :blowkiss:

Thank you, I painted this at 5 am because I couldn't sleep. I'm trying out a new paper it's very dark and a lot different but your supose to be able to wet paint on it better. It will take a while for me to get use to it. :)

painting is a better substitute for every thing even sleep! It seems you like new experiments. It is the same for me!

Yes its my main theme for me of being different. I like painting things like whole casts of TV or Films. Or in different ways, dispelling myths about watercolour being difficult. Like everything else in life it’s a skill that can be taught, but we must want and love it. You I can tell are just as fanatical about your art as I am about mine. I love the way we the ‘artists’ talk and encourage each other, no matter what religion or country we are from, we communicate on a basic level of liking the things we draw or paint. Sorry I've yarned on a bit. Friend Shalin :)

You are right. We have a common language and we easily understand each other through it. This fascinating tool of communication is painting... for me it is the meaning of life also. a nice painting excited me more than any thing else! :hi: :hi: :hi:

This is the loveliest picture of the little "twiglet" I've ever seen in my life ... thank you so much for sharing your talent.

Thank you for your kind comments, I find twiggy to be one of the easest to paint as she was such a big Iconic model. I sometimes wonder what they would have been like if I had done them on the watercolour paper I used now, ( it's better quality). For the next few weeks I'm having a short break from painting small A4 paintings, I will return on May 1st with a great number of new pieces and a few new ideas the lay off has been difficult but good for me I have done manyA3 and A 2 large works. Also against what I said I have painted a couple of A4 but I feel rested and ready to go for the next 1000 paintings also I have had a thought to doing a few more more difficult tutorials, Have fun I like your gallery keep working have a go yourself either with watercolour or draw twiggy I'm sure she will sit for you. I'm looking for a good photo of her from today as she still is a beautiful woman. Brian, brainfree. :8)   ;)
