Thank you Rochelle, since the administration is down I have been doing a few graphite drawings of family for our up coming Christmas holidays and I did draw an Adult Judy Garland and a child or Oz one.

I did a draw of my brother and is wife when they came to see me here in Martinic. It is watercolor. I am not very satisfied with it and will try to do it better.

Keep trying I know it is difficult to master a new technique I am still trying to master graphite. It is very hard to break old bad habits though!!!

Rochelle this was a nice site. Thank you. I do use a lot of the same techniques. I do not want to become as photo realistic as this artist. I use prisma colored pencil and I do burnish especially on the eyes. I am still having trouble with hair in both graphite and colored pencil work. Lately I am just using a water color wash and charcoal to try to make the hair look smoother in the graphite portraits. I know I am very impatient and need to buckle down with the drawing of hair and finer details. I must become more diciplined in this area. Oh well I guess there is always room for improvement. I am just having a ball here on this site we all support each other and this is an excellent way to meet other artists. I have met many very nice artists through this site. I am so very happy to know you too Rochelle stay in touch. Have you heard the Il Divo four men who are singing, they are a new group and their music is heavenly. These men were operah singers who are now doing more contemporary

i hope you will succeed in what you want to do. I've heard of Il divo but don't know their music. i know them from their portraits on this site This is not realy the music I like. I prefer jazz songer as Michael Bublé, Norah Jones, Diana Krall or Jamie Culum.

Yes Il Divo is more toward the classical type of music so you won't like it much. I don't know any of the people you quoted in your list.
