Thank you, I enjoy taking an old poor photo and painting from it, a good painting. Yes, I believe it is his last film performance. First I sponge applied a lot of acrylic flesh tone and after drying then with watercolour flesh T then finally with a gouache flesh T. For a model all I had to do was look in the mirror as I'm a bit of an old codger.

He was a great actor but a great rebel also! He got drunk, gambled and had many women. A real character.

Thank you this is so much better as a painting it's lost so much in the scanning it has depth and more colour. It's my favourite male portrait at the moment infront of the last Brad P although the B Pitt scanned better.
