Done on 3rd July 2008 with :
- "craie" (Conté) and colour pencil Faber-Castell n°189 (Canelle) for skin and lips ;
- "craie" (Conté)"portrait pink" for skin; - colour pencils Color'Peps (Maped) Marsh Mallow (background), Woody Brown for the eyes and Dark Black for the hair
Size : 17 x 13 cm
Time : abt 1 hour
Very good, you don't pick easy ones. Coloured pencils are harder than paint. Well done, Good hair, structure of face good, use the white paper a little more for shine on cheeks, you have to plan this from the very beginning. Very good.

Full color work! Bravo It is one of Your best portraits. Colour on face is very good select and situated. Week ago I try to draw some portrait with colored pencil but it was terrible. I must try again

Yes, I think you should try again. But, you know, maybe it was, like we say in France, "the chance of the beginner" because I tried a new one yesterday (I'm going to post it today if I can) and the result is really poor. No real likeness and no good proportions. I think I went too fast. Will do better next time, I hope! Moreover, I have a lack of colours with my simple pencils! But it's too expensive to buy more for the moment!
Je suis d'accord avec Anette, je trouve également que c'est le meilleur portrait que tu as posté jusqu'à maintenant! En plus, on reconnait immédiatement l'actrice! Puis ça ne semble pas très simple de travailler avec de la couleur, surtout lorsque la gamme n'est pas très diversifiée!! Encore bravo!
C'est vrai mais les couleurs n'étaient pas trop variées sur la photo et je crois donc que j'avais juste ce qu'il faut. c'est ça qui a aidé aussi. Si tu as envie de voir la photo original, elle se trouve sur mon blog : joey7lindley.skyrock.com, comme pour la majorité de mes dessins.

Hello Joey, I was ill so did not really do much. I looked at your portrait and you are indeed improving. If I may suggest - try to give more definition to the overall portrait, Do not be afraid to use stronger strokes with your pencils.
Well actually, I admire those who manage to draw with "transparent" lines. I don't know how to say... But I'll try to follow your advice for the future ones

Captas bien la expresión en la mirada eso caracteriza tu dibujo, muy bien la pose de la cabeza da la impresión que estuviera echandola un poco hacia atras, el cabello denota rebeldia y los colores muy bien escogidos y aplicados. Muy bonito amiga joey7lindley.
