Thank you, I include My glasses tip for you I hope it helps, GLASSES First use asking tape to tape of areas remaining white, I use tape as it is easier to remove than fluid. The technique is first I paint the pupil of eye and the background area with Acrylic black (or whatever colour you want) then waited for it to dry. Then using Acrylic use up on black areas. Next, I watercolour the Iris or lens colour in and wet wash it. Also you can use gouache W/C paint as you can see through it. Lastly, Remove tape and blend in on all the joining spots. Remember Acrylic paint only causes problems, because it dries so quickly which is a bonus and a problem, as all the brushes must be cleaned after use and palettes also I wash out water containers. I use Acrylic paint to do facial shape washes before starting,  very diluted so they just stain lightly I hope it helps a little like all good things a little expeirenting is needed. :8)

I feel a little ashamed to replay after such a long time  but your amazing quick tutorial has been still in my mind...however I haven't dared to paint with acrylic or water colors (find still quite difficult :/), on the other hand my challenge was to draw GLASSES...because you really inspirated me with your paintings ;). So you can have a look at my new Alessandra Ambrosio drawing :) ...I know - my simple white square  can't be comparable with your fantastic 'glass reflection' :whip:  but it's just beginning. Thanks!

I have looked and your drawing is very good in fact excellent. I feel you were a little adfraid to alow your self a little freedom and settled for the square after much soul scearching. Above I was just lasy I did not what to paint the guy underneath so I took the easier root of impressionist. :8)

 Timon - 15/02/09, 12:50 reply
Well, I drew what I saw in the reference picture because I always want my drawing to look real :) but I like your impressive paintings when you alow yourself a little freedom, like you said, and it still looks real  ;) :ok:
