Thank you Marino I had to look up the word pordigious though. Thank you I am working on getting a fast color pencil technique with pastel base. I can use this while doing poses of subjects in the park. More practice though I think.

Your technic in pastel seems good. It is different from mine. I like to put a lot of "powder" and to shade it with my finger. Perhaps there is too much contrast on your drawing. I mean, the white is too white, a transition may be missing. Hope you'll understand my bad englis, and my explanation will help you. I am not a professionnel.

I can understand you very well Rochelle. I am going to keep your hints in mind on the next pastel work I do. I usually beef up the prints in photo shop to about 15 so it looks more vivid on the screen. In the originals the colors are very much softer. I will use my hands to blend the skin tones better thank you and please keep in contact I know my color works need a lot of help. I struggle with that medium and can only hope to become better!
