Very good, improving all the time. I can see the paper was not very thick because the water bubbled it. the left side is great, I can see you had a little problem with the right side. Never mind you pressed on, a very good likeness, is excellent try a little thicker paper and wet paper with a small amount of water no paint then leave dray for 1 minute then water with colour. Now for a secret, the way to paint facial marks such as the nose shading is with the dirty water that you wash out your brushes with, keep one form light colour such as flesh tones and one for black, purple and dark colours by all means use fresh water in the light wash out cup. continued
P.S. Keep the black dark washout water in a seal jam jar as you use it it will evaporate and become darker if so then add a little water from the other jar. Now dirty water I will now call it dw the use of dw can be seen on many of my faces in fact all of my paintings in different strengths. The whole of the face of Heath Ledger is dw it gives depth. When doing a one tone painting say Brad Pitt yellow I save the early paint wash out water so at the end I can put facial marks in. A long answer but your at the stage for it. I hope that helps Good work on to another to try out dw. Brainfree,
