One of my weak areas is black and white with the acrylics...you really captured Reeses charm,I mean how adorable is she right?Most excellent! :grin: :ok: :thumbup: ;) ;xD :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

i love acrylics! they are easy to wash out of brushes, and they mix with water. they are better than watercolors because they are opaque for the most part... monochromatic paintings are a little challenging, but they turn out good if you can get the shading right :)

Yes...they are cheap too! I pick up mine for a dollar apiece at the local Wal-mart and then get my specialty colors at the craft stores..I was combining gesso with several of my monochramatics and it was'nt balancing the shading right!It looked like i had laced everything with white-out! :D

One of my biggest faults is my impatience!...Oil paints and me don't fly because it takes so damn long for them too dry!So when I found acrylics...and i notice your duration times...30 min!!! I was thrilled because i could manipulate the paints more so,where watercolors dry and you risk ruining your paper by getting it too wet!
