Whoops! I kinda pressed submit too soon! Well what I actually did was that I roughly drew out the image first, then for the shadows I quickly went over it with a blending stump. The drawing wasn't really perfect (well to be honest it was a complete mess!) So I scanned it and edited it on the computer. The application I used to do this is called GIMP 2. I used the smuding tools to smooth down the rough lines and I airbrused it to make it darker. I hope that helps! You can download it through here if your interested! www.gimp.org/downloads/
Thank you Rupin! Well what I did was that I drew out image on paper first and then darkened it on computer. If you read the third comment I made above yours, it explains exactly what I did step-by-step. It should come in useful to you if your wanting to do portraits in this similar sort of style!
LOL.. No, it's my friend. She wanted me to do two separate pictures... One of herself and the other of Bill. But because she is so infatuated with Bill Kaulitz I thought it would more sensible to put the two pictures together! I think it worked out well in the end lol Oh yeah thanks for adding me to your artist list by the way lol
