Wow I like the glases - thats awesome! You really paint a lot, don't you?

Thank you, I have plenty of time as I don't work, because I'm Ill. twenty years ago I had heart problems that left me house bound. So I have to fill my day with something and because I sleep poorly, I start early at about 5am and paint and answer comments as breaks for about 8 hours. then I return in the afternoon for 3 hours. My wife also paints, but she paints mainly Watercolour landscapes and she's very good. In my busy day I look after my aviary and garden. I also do Voluntary youth work three evenings a week. I consider my painting mainly to be small paint sketches and have painted a few larger ones. I start paintings and finish later perhaps days later, I have one that is by my side now! that I painted a month ago but have not finished. Many of this batch are older ones. Also in Wales this summer the weather has been wet and I've had to stay home.

Thank you, I have a technique normally involving acrylics, but with this one it's all done with watercolour and drying time.

Thank you, just a pink face this time not a flesh tone, as the flesh tone didn't look right, I have no idea why. Probably the glases contrast.

Thank you, two bites at this one before it came. I painted it with flesh tone and it looked poor then painted over the flesh tone with Gouache pink and I'm happy.
