Excellent, your very good but there are small errors of technique like the shading between th left arm and shoulder. A picky thing. Your shading and likeness are wonderful so is your attension to detail, for painting I use less detail, but it's more about feeling. Again great work.
I have great expierence of all mediums such as drawing, pastel, painting If I can help I will it's just me. You need no help with likeness but some of your techniques are a little beginner, one day your skill will catch up with your talent and you will be a great artist better than me.
Actually I am a beginner... I only started to draw 5 months ago... About my talent...I don't know... I feel like anyone can do the kind of potraits that I do... Thank you again ...
You start with a talent for likeness which some practice for years it took me 20 years to wake up one day and the people I was painting looked like who I was painting. So starting with that talent. Simple drawing is all you need to paint, I would advise you to have a play with pastels they teach tonal work and how to blend one colour into another there are afew basic rules such as start light and work towards dark, also work from the midle out and ,Masking tape all the white you want to keep. Have ago I love pastels But nothing is like paint.
It gives me great pleasure to be appreciated by someone like you, so thank you again for that... I've always wanted to paint, actually that's how I started to draw. I'm still in the learning phase...I don't feel really prepared for this yet, knowing also that you need a big space only for that... Anyway, I hope i will be able to get to that someday...
