An excellent composition where the remembered Ray Charles appears like the bird Phoenix, arising on the ashes with a lot of force, the excellent brightness that you give him as well as the color and his tonal application make of this remarkable work, you have the magic of printing in your works that great mystery made reality, captured with a lot of property and genius and mainly with a great talent. Good delivery my friend jpoulos2561, is always pleasing to contemplate your works.
Wow John!!! You do it all!! Too late for Halloween but even then it's very original. I guess you are the first. And easy to carve???? I don't believe it. It's really cool. A very creative work made by a very creative man. to you John....
Hi Mariette...I don't know if pumpkin carving belongs on stars-portraits but about 100 little kids sure had a lot of "comments" on Boris and Sally...the parent/escorts recognized Ray....Thanks for your kind words...
Well, don't bother about that. Obviously it does!! And 'maybe now you have inspired others to develop or show their new forms of art.... I think it's nice...
Thank you dear, I can hardly imagine how it could get more varied here...and this...draw it on the pumpkin with a Sharpie - 5 or 10 minutes, cut it out with a small keyhole saw...another 10 or twenty minutes...'course gutting the freaking pumpkin takes a half hour!! The best thing is: you can teach a kid to do it and, they get deliriously INSPIRED!
True and it can't become much crazier here But I think it's more difficult to do than you describe. Anyway, you were very original here my friend with your creative mind...
