Thank you, another case of I saw it and thought that's impossible so I proved myself wrong ( see positive). Water falling down it all took about 2 hours to do. I have a few more to finish then it will be Flash Gordon and more Clint.
Merci Alain, quelques peintures que je fais suis plus difficile que d'autres. En voyant celui-ci j'ai voulu faire bon, j'ai fait uns avec de l'eau - en bas du visage, mais de ceci a eu des problèmes d'othe de garder le resembalance. J'aime les impossibles.
Thank you, never seen the film but liked the poster, so at first I thought it was not possible, so I started with a grey underwash and it looked aweful it was only at the end it came around to look OK.
Thank you, starting out I was going to do it in all grey or black, but I soon came around to blue as it sets a cold look and achieves an atmosphere. I had to use an incredible amount of white to turn the water, watery. Hmm I don't know if that makes sense.
I like what I call running paint, I put paint on and let it run down the face, moving the paper right or left to follow the contour. I start always with a grey or whatever the background colour is, then repeat with the shine colour, in this case white and off white. Practice, Practice is what it's about.
Thank you the eys took about a third of the painting time about four layers. If they a scary then it worked as I have not seen the film yet. I originally was going to put the fingers on the eye but it did not work.
Wow! I saw this yesterday,and have been wanting to tell you how haunting it is! Splendid! Will you paint Edward Scissorhands and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys someday?
Thank you, of course it's a pastiche of the Film Poster it was very difficult to do. Yes I will paint both Edward S and Brian Wilson Funny enough I have not painted either before. It will take about 5 days manly for me to clear the Flash Gordon series and a few other requests but I will start looking for something different about them. As that is my main aim. I love a challenge and will relish this one.

Thank you, I like to be original in my work, I will attempt anything and love to do the impossible, does that sounds bigheaded. I know it does but I'm not boasting, just trying to let you see that I'm driven! to my work, I have a thing for water it's difficult to master Well. This started out going to be grey and a light grey black called Payne's grey, but I change over thank god half way through to blues, but it was a lesson as the greys were a great under wash (Coat). I feel it's not enough to copy a poster, you have to make it your own. A long answer sorry.
