Did you use gray ink for the muted effects this is excellent?

Wow, Christine - thanks very much for such a response!! In fact, this is all done with the same 0.2mm pen and black ink. The density of dots is all I use for different shades.

Thanks Mariette. It's hard to say how long it takes because I normally only have sessions of about 20 minutes. I guess this one took about 30-35 hours over 3 weeks.

I can see that is has cost a lot of time, but it was all worth the effort!! It's totally amazing. It looks so precise and so complete. It's much better than a photocopy. I really love it. It's perfect!! See it like this: Time doesn't matter if you have fun with the things you are doing At least, that goes for me. My paintings mostly take weeks or even longer. Just work on them when I want to. But for sure it's fun!!. Show us some more of your works like this. Really love it!....Mariette

It seems to be quite difficult to draw this way because your technique need to be done "point by point", if I'm right. Good luck for your present and future works !
