Instead of using a completly different colur use grey and blend it out to the eadges. :grin: :8)

thanks james...first.i decided to paint the background with poster paint but then i thought it would not look good with a sketch so i decided to make it with ms paint and i was happy with the result......

It looks good, I did a portrait of pink ages ago which I was not very happy with so I used ms paint on the background which I think has improved it, so thanks for the idea :D :thumbup: :hi:
