pouah just perfect, I really like what you do because you use really strange colors and it makes something so realistic, it's amazing.

Thank you, I paint in a different way to show their all my work. I wanted to show is dark soul in his eyes so at this point with the slight reflection of blood in his eye, I down tools ( brushes) and stopped as I've done the good eyes before and spoiled them by fiddling. :) :8) :oO:

Thank you, I've painted him so many times and missed that look ing his eyes, but this time I took no chances and stopped straight away once there. A Dark painting but 80% is Pink flesh tone, it's where the dark is like real life we all see differently I play on that. :8)

I'm on the Hannibal films from silence to Rising. A few left to do! I feel your own choice so far has been excellent. The mixture of old rocker and today's stars is very good I'm a fanatic on series of paintings after this one I will have a little light relief paint todays pop singers duffy, winehouse, but the choice is always varied. I like the prirates them Johnny Depp and say Keith Richards as a comparison. But that's me, I'm always looking for different although I knock them out the fun's also in the choice. :8)

Thank you, the eyes were my aim! If dark surrounds it make the centre darker, this is why I say to leave one side of a portrait dark in the background and the other light., :8)

Thank you, No I drew singer Marilyn Manson not Mason the evil one I gave him and his lot a bit of a miss because of Jeanette I will return in the new year to the murders and evil side but I'll give a nice snowy, apple pie type of subjects for Christmas. Mind I do have another 10 of hannibal to finish. :8)

 Christine - 21/11/08, 18:10 reply
Okay don't do Charles Manson and keep away from Bundy and Dommer they are real demons I am sure!!!

 brainfree - 21/11/08, 18:18 reply
I'll go for the fictional ones first. :8)

 Christine - 21/11/08, 23:18 reply
Yes that is playing it safe. I tried to read Mine Kemp by Adolph Hitler and couldn't get beyond the third chapter for the evil that seemed to eminate from it. Good thinking Brian don't take any chances!!

 brainfree - 22/11/08, 08:53 reply
I'm a religious person a Christian, but I don’t believe that painting or drawing evil can influence me or others. If you visit European churches you will see many gargoyles and other small statues on the buildings, these were to show that evil was present and should be recognised. I think the films that show evil even in the form of vampire movies or horror movies, serve as a warning to youngsters. It could be true that the guy next door is evil, then them on their guard, if the world was all sweetness and light and little bunnies and Bambi pictures, it would lead to evil hiding out in bunny costumes. I’m a little more level headed than that. :8)

 Christine - 22/11/08, 13:09 reply
Sounds like you are on the right track my friend. I too am a Christian and the devil is real and in Jesus Christs name he can be put down I always follow my leading if the Holy Spirit speaks to me I try to do what is required mostly to stay away from things which are able to rob our souls and lead us into temptation. I am not always sucessful but I try.
