Thank you, the eyes are done with a watercolour technique I call glazing. This is were you cut masking tape around the Iris and a little bit for the shine then place a great blob of water and add the colour to it, move it around with the back of the brush, it soaks in! (it's exciting to see what you get) of course I used it for one eye originally and two eyes have to be done at the same time. Then paint in the pupil's with black acrylic. :8)

Thank you, I had her pointed out to me and she was a good subject. I've done another was a wonderfully weird painting, so it drew me into wanting to reproduce it in my way a pastiche of a piece of her work. :8)

 SouthGirl - 07/12/08, 17:29 reply

Thank you, although they are good to look at, they become easier as their just a skill or technique. Very easy to learn how to do. :8)

 blubviss - 05/12/08, 11:15 reply
i don't know it's looks not so easy. but it's very nice

 brainfree - 05/12/08, 13:07 reply
I find the harder a thing looks the easy it becomes after time. I did not say the first say five it would be easier but as you paint more and more the impossible becomes possible. All art is difficult if we think to much about it, but with paractice things that took week and were difficult become easier. Where would the fun be if I waved a wand over things and it was there. Waving a wand is called digital but by hand it's your work and no one elses it grows infront of you, :8)

 blubviss - 05/12/08, 13:42 reply
you're completelly right i think to much that i get unsecure about my works and i ask myself am i doing good or not and actually the big problem and big dificulty is myself hihi  practise makes peferfect we just have to believe. thank u for ur encourege words :whip:

The eyes look really cool!!

 brainfree - 05/12/08, 09:17 reply
Thank you, paint what you see, just blobs of colour, impressionist, just a skill which as you use, it you become better at. I wish it was very difficult, then I could pretend I was something special but I'm not, I'm just a paint slinger. :8)

 HelenaFan - 05/12/08, 15:40 reply
I think youre draw style is special. I always recognize youre drawings :cute:

 brainfree - 07/12/08, 08:17 reply
Thank you over the last 9 months here I have tried to get a style of drawing and painting, nothing to heavy more original with a few poster pastiches. I'm glad you recognise them and more importantly like them. :8)
