Although I like some of his work I'm not his greatest fan. I love mixing impressionism with the detail school. I grew up wanting to be a film poster painter, more of an illustrator. I have no art school background just a ordinary person's view on art, the one school of art I am crazy about is the French impressionists and Dutch paint Johannes Vermeer (pearl earring) I find the impressionist such as Edgar Degas to be excellent observes of people (Ballet dancers). Vanmeer was to be an innovator in the art world, and probably the first Artistic photographer. Andy Warhol I think tried to bring the everyday world into his art, but he's just a bit out there for me but each to their own. Brain. I like painting in other peoples styles I will have to paint an Andy Warhol oneday.
Thank you, I've visted your gallery and your a good drawer who has an eye for the look. If your skill improves one day you will be an excellent painter and drawer.. I'm glad you like my work I was not born as a good painter your style is very simplar to me when I started 50 years ago. Mind don't panic it does not take 50 years to be good, fast or a quick painter yes but not good. I like to make someone sit up when looking at my work this is done by making the painting different good contrast and slightly impressionist. Have Fun and remember there are things outside drawing but it can be fun. Brian.
Thank you, I love colour I've just had a caterac remove from my one eye and I see things very well at the moment, it's funny because it makes such a difference.
