Good, Hair excellent, good background I hate to critize a teacher but on watercolour you should sack them. Next week I will give you a few tips that will improve your work over night I'm to busy today but Monday or Tuesday I will give you some help. Mind if you don't want it then just say and I wount bother with the help bit. For now I will say that its about tone and light and dark. Brianfree. Hvave a look at my work to see if I'm up to it. :8)

Ok, I'm not against your teacher but teaching watercolour is like passing on little secrets. Although your work is good, you can be very good and when your very good go on to be great. I will have to talk about things you already may know. I'm sorry but we are a half a world apart, your teacher stands next to you. What will you need well a pencil, brush, a selection of watercolours, good watercolour paper, think thick, and water. Take for your first project a simple portrait of say one of my works or a pop singer you like it must be a good photo, lightly sketch an outline drawing. Ok it’s time to talk about likeness or making the portrait look like the person. Big is good, big drawings mean lest face to draw or paint. Get that far and come back to me with the name of the star or singer and I will paint a step by step portrait and put it on here so we have something to work from. :8)

I got up last night a 5am and painted this for you I hope it will help. It is in 4 stages from drawing to painting, the last stage will take a little more time, as finishing is my most difficult thing to do. I'm a little disapointed that is has only a small likeness to her but because I have not done my planning to a normal leval it shows. :8)
