Great!! It is something with the way U have drawn it, it looks almost like watercolour I think! Have U used Ur fingers or a shadow-pen 4 the shadows?  :-?

Ok Good but not great your drawing has im proved please paitn more stop praticing likeness. Work on making hair or showing light or darkness I don't want to be grumpy but don't waste the skills of painting on drawings the painting of father christmas, Celine Dion the Kaulitz boys are turning pointd as a mentor it only my job to guide Please return to paint no matter how good you drawing it's not as good as your new painting skill If you want to do mono colour drawing type painting use a brush and paint. Above your skill of tone, conflicts with the way pencil drawings work It's good but you can be better, Now don't repy saying sorry if you think im right say so but don't use the word sorry. As you can see I'm still here perhaps I should have gone back to sleep.  :8)

 rvsa17 - 21/12/08, 12:14 reply

I see that you are starting to blend it is good. You need to remember in nature there are no lines. But if your goal is to be more illustrational the line variations are good. I like the highlight on the headband and the whites of the eyes shows you are putting emphasis on the highlights. The lip as well, Squint your eyes while looking at the photo and this will help with values. You are coming along very nicely Rupin!!!!!!!!!! keep drawing because no matter how good you paint the basis of good painting is in the drawing!!!
