I really gave myself a hard time with this one. Not one but 3 faces and not the easiest of angles either. The shading was an absolute nightmare as the white face paint is not even white on any of the photos. There's so many blues and purples and even greens in his complexion, I was layering Prismacolors for hours.
I wanted to create something quite special and personal to me so I didn't go off any internet images, instead I used my own. I took my time and listened to one of my favourite albums which kept me in good spirits despite my heavy heart.
I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It's just such a shame Heath could not see this for real...

Oh and this will be my last submisson before Christmas so Merry Christmas everyone.
Most, most excellent! So true about the "white" face make-up.So many shades and so many colors...from what I understand besides the two scar latex pieces on the sides of heaths' face, they created a thin wrinkled piece for his forehead to give him that aged scowl...other than that hough heath supposedly went and bought some mascarra and came up with the look himself.Again, AMAZING work here!
This is so incredible! I'm so sure that if Heath would still be around he'd love it! I mean there is no way anybody could not like it! It's just so so so so so so incredible! God . You've done amazing job .
