With watercolor you can use a dry brush effect in the hair to make lines that indicate hair strands this adds more realism. No person has perfect hair and adding a few stray hairs helps with the illusion of real hair. Lips are never really red so if you want more realistic lips do them in a darker flesh tone. But of course if you wanted to do lipstick leave the high light light. around the figure you can go lighter like a haylo it looks better that way. This is really a nice painting I love your watercolor you excel in this medium!!!!
