Thank you, I wanted the hair to look different so I double flat brushed it.

well, hair is really wonderful!!!

I took a flat brush and put paynes grey on one side and black on the other and twisted it as I came down the strands of hair, then I added dirty water off black and light grey. I think it worked, it looks fab on the painting, but a little of the effect does not come over on the scan.

Thank you, I like your Kelly Clarkson, Sandra Bullock they are very good, you seem to be able to do better likeness. I think you should move to watercolour pencils as a first step to painting. With these you could blend the colours better, OK what do I know, I just like your work.
