Thank you, I said I would do something different for her I hope it fits the bill. I've gone back to doing some different Joker ones as there are so many that look the same so I've done some with a bit of a twist. :8) I have just had the DVD for Christmas. *xD

She is sweet, talented, and charming.I am sure it has.I have a dedication for you incoming this weekend,as a sci-fi fan I am sure you will be pleased, watch for Twilight Zone. ;) :ok: :)I agree about the Joker being played out,all that is left for an artist now is to freeze frame shots of the film and find different shots to work from! :D :D :hi:

I am guilty of watching my copy of the film about 42 times since Dec the 9th 08',Ha!ha! :DI guess i am a child at heart, even though this film was not intended for kids I suppose at least Chris Nolans' vision is dark. :ok: :)

I have been sketching from the film. I make little notes and sketches when I watch films, sometimes their rubbish, but they have lead on to some good drawings. I have seen all the comic book films and the batman films and this view of the this director, is the nearest Fan version. I think it should win Oscars for more than effects, it shows brilliance of the story book (comic) and the big block buster films, at that Hollywood is famous, for other films from comics sometimes have great effects and crap story telling, some have great beginnings and middles but no ends. Many Have great actors, but some actors have no knowledge of comic book story telling. I think British actors of my age have a better insight into both hero's and villains, from comic books because we had less choice than the USA. I would get my two copies of Metal men and The fantastic four every week at a cost of one shilling and three pence for that I could get four cokes and a burger and still have enough money to go to the cinema. A very expensive hobby. I like the look of the next big one. The Watchers. :8)

Me too! DC is finally starting to produce even keel with Marvel...even though they lost me with Superman Returns, not what it could have been, let's hope The man Of Steel will prove to be one of those sequels that debunks the horrid first film.he Watchers looks promising, such a great comic novel anyway! In terms of british comic fans I can certainly see what you mean,we kinda take advantage of all our vast comics underground and otherwise. You made me nostalgic just now! i wish i could have grabbed issues of 1960s MarvelFFS that cheap!Long live Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.Kirby influenced me as a child with those reprints of FF...there quantum!!!!!!

The shop where I bought my comics aged 10 to 14 also sold Durex and naughty girly mags. I think it was a good excuss to go in there, as well as being a massive comic department. The guy that own it died aged 86, still openning his shop each morning at 9-0 am They found him bent over after openning the door. Mind at 10 t0 14 I did not know what durex was for the good old days. :8)

Wow...visions of Bettie page dancing in my head! :D

 brainfree - 03/01/09, 10:45 reply
When I catch an eye of top self Mag’s now they bare  no resemblance to the arty ones of the 50's and 60's and I was only a naive young boy who was only a bit of a curious on looker. In fact on many occasions I went with two girls and it was only a long time after that I realised they were more curious than me. One was my neighbour and her friend I bothered with them because the one was a tom boy and a year older than me and she would fight anybody who tried to bully me. I went on two years later to have her as my girl friend when she turned into a beauty, I filled out at 16 and became a swimmer and footballer (defender) and no body ever bullied me again apart from that girl and that did not last. Great memories.
