I started out with blending the background with graphite powder on a smudge paper stump hard packed kind then I applied a wash with lighter fluid over the parts I wanted darker. Then for the very dark areas I used watercolor paint wet wash on Bristle smooth paper. Don't rub too hard just apply very lightly so you don't mar the paper. You can then go over all of this again with the lighter fluid it smooths out the background. Practice on another scrap paper so you get the hang of it before doing it on your good drawing.
Keep tuned I like the idea of doing the main cast there will be more. I never get tired of seeing this program and I love the story and this piece is a classic timeless and beautiful kind of like someone elses work that I admire!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah yes I guess it is hard to believe but it is a great series and teaches basic lessons in family values love this series and it shows a lot of U.S. history too!!
I never get tired of this program it is truly a classic show and will remain thus for years and years to come. I also love the Little Rascals that is a timeless classic too. It has so much American history in it and such great roles for the young kids of the 1930s children growing up in that time frame in America!!!!!
Thanks again Jessie he was a sensational man and a great actor so sad about his pancreatic cancer and his suffering. I am sure heaven's gate was wide open to receive such a wonderful man!!
