ya it took me 3-4 days to complete it it was a big picute i had done it on a big sheet...i really had a good time making it......now i making a series of 6 friends(the tv show) portraits.....

yes..actually in the wallpaper which i found on google had all the characters but in a smaller size so it was difficult for me to see and make detailing so i had seen that portrait also.....he had drawn that portrait very very well i am not that good....... but still good to know you liked my effort....

Very good drawing, difficult to tackle a multi drawing as each is realy a portriat ofit's own I only do this with large portraits. Well Done Good use of tone. :clap: :clap: :grin: :8)

I always work large. Most of my single drawings are 11x14 and some on 14x17. I find the larger I work the better the likenesses. I love the artist John Singer Seargent look him up on the web. I saw some of his oil paintings in Chicago museum and they are huge almost life size. Wonderful works. Something to work towards.Maybe in my next life. Hope there is more than this one!!!!!!!!

i generally work on an A5 size sheet and this large one was just a try.....your work must be very time consuming i have made one and i have a expirence on this that its tough to make so hats off to you...you are superb artist and a great human being......i will look on web abot john singer....

Most take an average of three hours. Some quicker about two hours. Like I said I like to work fast and large. It has just been my habit to work fast. I am in construction working porduction making steel wedge anchors must do about from ten to twenty thousand anchors in about eight hours daily. This is getting to my hands, carpel tunnel syndrone but I keep going will be retiring soon from the factory work. Still working on getting a really nice portrait in both graphite and color. Love doing the drawings I think if I do a thousand and improve that will be a good baby step perhaps!!!!!!!!!

You have to go at your own natural pace. It doesn't matter how long you work at something the important factor is not to over work the piece. My old art teacher said when it's done it's done!!!!! You can always go back much later and see the flaws and maybe change a few minor details but don't get too dark and don't loose the freshness!!!
