Well, as you can see I tried out coloured pencils for a change; it's the first time I've done a close-up portrait in colour. I used black markers for her hair, which I'm not quite happy with... but it'll have to do.
Wow! First time? You are really great! I tried but never know how to use my colours to make shadows nor how to choose them. And some members told me we must master normal pencils before trying colour pencils so...
The one I succeeded in doing was Neve Campbell but there are not a lot of shadows and contrast on it. I should take lessons with you!
I love the hair too!!!
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment! Technically it's not the first time I've used coloured pencils; I made a full-body portrait once, but never a close-up like this. So it was a new experience. Thanks again!
Woooow Nina, de höbs dich zelf weer es euvertroffe! Vanaaf noe allein nog mer kleure gebruke! En ut haor is in ein woord geweldig, ich höb d'r gein anger weurd veur. Bin trots op dich!! (K) (L)
I think you have done an excellent job of combining colored pencils with black markers. I like Robin Tunney. The Mentalist is one of my favorite TV shows, but I do not watch much TV.
